Right from the get go, I felt like Saliou’s emotions for Gabriel was weak. Saliou’s feelings are still vague. I can’t see his sincerity about Gabriel.

    I think there needs to be scenes of them getting to communicate again. Most of their time together has been them preparing to fight the stupid vampire.
