the mere fact that he asked permission is development itself. you do remember that he rapes Nakyum all the time and this is the only scene I remember him wanting Nakyum's consent to continue.
I mean yeah but after all that torture i don't find this enough to be a character development... He didn't rape him this chapter, but i don't think this is something to be so happy about. Hope nakyum doesn't forget everything with just that lol

Just popping in to say the bare minimum seems generous in comparison to Seungho's past actions because that's how bad his character is and while it might not seem much, people are quote unquote "celebrating" because we see this as Byeonduck's first step to broadening Seungho's redemption arc. It might not be much, and he's done so many atrocities in the past, but that's why we're rooting for a more positive change of scene. One that Nakyum rightfully deserves because honestly, he's been through hell and back. That doesn't mean Seungho gets a pass for forgiveness, and it's something I hope Byeonduck doesn't forget as well. The trauma they made Nakyum go through will not go away just like that, and I think I can speak for most readers when I say we hope to see a mature talk about what's happened between them. So yeah, people are happy to see baby steps lol
Why everyone's talking about a character development while everything Seungho did in this chapter was asking for permission to fuck
