I get what you mean but if you think about it other bl/yaoi have a quick setup and then continue while they are dating but this was just the story of how they got together so confessing qt the same time was also good so it didn’t just keep dragging
love everything about this story but idk how i feel about the ending tbh. i dont like that both couples confessed at the exact same time. i feel like it kinda ruined that mood T-T
