I think it's due to the fact that she's falling for the crown prince. I guess she didn't expect it to happen, and as cringey as it sounds, I think Aria is someone who changes bc of love. She's still smart, but she's slowly losing her edge. This is just my opinion tho (づ￣ 3￣)づ
