Um the new partner is clearly the reason why they separated (for one his white lotus vibes) so of course he would have trouble with any ex of the ML's simply because he's a b****. And why would the ML try to get the other guy to chill when this abusive method is the way he 'protects' the MC, also obviously.
No clue on the dialogue exactly but for some reason I find the seme interesting. Altho I really wish he would get his new partner to chill or better yet separate, can understand feeling intimidated by the ex wife but like he's too jealous too much it looks like
