I've only read a few from other comments, so I can't vouch for their credibility.. if you scroll down a bit a commenter mentioned that the author/artist received death threats. And I think I also heard that the artist disagreed with the story plot, or the author and artist couldn't work through their differences in opinion so the artist got fed up and is hurrying through the plot so they can drop the project. Not sure exactly

In case you haven't heard, the artist and author have had arguments regarding the comic, and the artist, having lost interest in the story, is rushing towards the conclusion. There are various other factors that people have reported, but rip this comic and the fickleness of creators.
