Um not really, it depends but the mc took it as he paid him for his time so he then took offense. Usually they would say if it’s for a taxi but he didn’t so
Yeah I agree I understand that his perspective is different, I thought the same of paying for his time but since we don’t know the other main character’s perspective, I’m speculating other options but yeah
I wonder the money left on the stand was for him to get a taxi or it’s for the housekeeping? Cause in America, typically before we leave a hotel/motel , we leave a tip for them but I’m not sure what the culture is like in like asian countries
