Though By the flows of the story, I thought Seige threatened Kasia so she can finally feel human emotions and will start to feel something or maybe just anything for him. I did not think he actually want her dead.
And.. since she held the legendary sword on the cover, I thought she will be the emperor and have polygamy. I even wished for her to have 2 husbands, 1 emperor and 1 king haahhaha but it’s too good to be true now~~

Apparently i was wrong about the 4 lifetimes, its actually 3 (the first one being the soldier thing). The comments are a bit confusing on the next life, one person said its a school arc where the MC is a school president kinda position, or vice president and Luke had a crush on her, they're together in this lifetime. The other commenter said that the next life is about adult Luke and Kasia where they are friends in modern day, he becomes soldier here too and starts having dreams about his previous lives. He and MC stay jn a hotel for some business and then he remembered all his lifetimes and knocked on MC hotel door. He confessed to her that he remembered everything and MC smiled, then they hugged and traveled together around the world for like a year (=・ω・=) Anyways confusing, but still they both end up happy in whichever senario. Personally felt so bad for Luke because in the second lifetime when he was Sage, he was very depressed and became a workaholic and gradually lost eyesight, he even volunteer to go to war torn places becoz of work. He was basically depressed coz MC had mage in this lifetime and he regretted it a lot. Because of overwork, MC became concerned for him and finally, Sage killed himself by drinking poison after rectifying his will

2. Prince: Became a wise emperor. Sadly got rejected by Kasia. He was nice but just that he was too late compared to mage. Also spend almost his entire life longing for MC even after becoming emperor where he had a wife who genuinely loved him. Later, after they had a heartfelt talk together (with his wife), realized his mistake in neglecting her and started to love her too. Happy ending for him as well. Btw i think her name is Alicia, i think? Or Alice?
3. Luke: Personally felt sad for his ending, he killed himself in last life after he killed Kasia. He sort of had a redemption arc i think(from the comments anyways) in this lifetime and got depressed and was very miserable in the end of the novel becoz of guilt, longing and love for MC then he killed himself. Before he offed himself, he begged and pleaded with Kasia to give him a chance in their next life and MC was like sure.
