I think it’s because the uke still doesn’t fully trust the other guy. I mean the guy came into his life out of nowhere and treated him kindly so he’s probably still skeptical about him and he doesn’t want to be in debt to a person a second time. Personally, I wouldn’t use the money to pay my debt either if a stranger just gave me money. No one knows what their true intention may be
I think it’s because even though he knows he can pay off his debt anytime and get out of that awful situation, he’s too afraid to actually leave and is afraid of what might happen after he gets out.
can someone please tell me why the uke doesn’t just pay off his debts and stop seeing the tattoo guy?? He’s obviously unhappy why is he just complying with him instead of just paying it off.
