I agree with you ! he was so misunderstood but the way his character is written is amazing. I got attached to him as a character so this final episode was totally heart wrenching, when this gets animated it will be even more heart-breaking as i can tell the voice actors will put in their all and especially love eren's voice actor.

'Eren Jaeger is one of the most well written protagonists yet he is misunderstood by so many people.
His first goal was, is and always would have been to seek freedom for his friends and Eldians, so he sacrifices his own freedom to make himself the enemy to both Eldians, Marley and the rest of the world. He knows the only way to save his friends and unite thr two nations is to give them an enemy they need to defeat together.'
Then he quoted Erwin (like what the heck where did tht come from) with words like' Like Erwin said "Sometimes you need to sacrifice your humanity to save humanity" and that's exactly what Eren did'
I'm very proud of him but I did not know he was that invested in the story. I thought he reads and watches it because i talk so much about it.
