Moving to the country side at that time and age if anything would make her life harder? Also she will need money in the country side and she doesn't want to work any random Jobs or do hard labor in this life... So she has to keep her status and the academy does look like the best choice right now since she has a room and food for free and also she doesn't even have to study hard since she already knows most of the things they learn there. So she can totally live her lazy life for the next couple of years before she decides what to do next. Also it's pretty impossible for the prince to be one of the kids she taught since that was 200 years ago (according to what she said) lol. As for him being boring... he does seem a bit blunt and "serious" but It's still the beggining so maybe his character will become more interesting later on.
This is a tired ass story with little to no promise. So the FL couldn't just rest by moving to a countryside? The ML is boring as hell and I have a shady feeling they will make it one of the kids she raised in her past.
