Trashta isn’t as bad as sovieshit ngl y’all did her dirty

Koe April 11, 2021 5:00 pm

Trashta is smart, but she is extremely uneducated. From what we have seen, she genuinely wanted to have a good relationship with Navier, but obviously she has no understanding of social life since she has only ever been a slave. She isn’t actually a bad person, but she takes advantage of her circumstances like any other person in her position, with her past, would’ve done. Sovieshit is the one who drove Rashta to this point, and from the beginning he likes Rashta cuz she’s dumb ... (c" ತ,_ತ) lmao fuck u sovieshit

Edit: I’m not saying she’s a good person it’s just that her actions are completely understandable

None of that excuses her actions of framing

You can't definitely call Trashta a good person either though. She's like a spoiled child even though she was mistreated, she still expects to be loved by everyone, she meets, as long as she looks and acts cute. For someone, who had nothing, she's extremely entitled and while Sovieshit is enabeling her behaviour, he didn't make her like this, it's her personality. She's also extremely self-righteous and it seems her conscience is almost non existent. Even though, she presents herself as loving and can act kind, it's always only to the point, where she doesn't have to sacrifice anything, she will always put herself before others and is more than ready to destroy someone's life, just to save herself from even the smallest of punishment.

I’m not saying she should be excused it’s just that if anybody else was in her position they probably would’ve done the same her actions are completely understandable

She acts that way in a sense of self-preservation. She has always been mistreated, and because people doted on her, she had child, and even that child was taken from her. She has to utilize everything she has to survive in the palace. Of course she will ruin navier’s life for her own. Why would she put navier above herself? Even if Sovieshu divorces Navier, she will not fall into poverty. Her life will not be ruined to the degree that Rashta’s will if Sovieshu throws her away.

Not only Navier, just watch her throw one of those pairs of nobles under the bus without any remorse. Or did you forget the time, when she went out of her way to hurt the bird just because she got jealous? She expected to be loved by a woman, whose husband she stole and once, she was finally met with open hostility, she retaliated by purposefuly making a scene, when she was lightly pushed away from Navier. If she only acted in self-preservation, she would shut her mouth and be a good quiet concubine not making any waves, but she's extremely greedy. She wants literally everyone to love her and validate her, it's not enough for her to have a child with Sovieshit, who will be taken care of, the child has to have higher standing than that of an empress. If she was just grateful for a position of concubine, enjoying all the luxuries, she probably haven't even dreamt of, she wanted more and more and more.

She lacks common sense and empathy for people around her, she used the Viscount’s son and left him as soon as she found someone with more standing

Her being a slave is a horrible thing but she never respected Navier’s boundaries and was corrected multiple times

Probably if you or I were a slave and all of a sudden the emperor is doting on me, then I would do anything to keep that standing. If I don’t keep the emperors favor, then I might be kicked out one day. It makes sense that she is greedy. She has never had any of this before. If you have chocolate for the first time, doesn’t it make sense that you would keep wanting more, even if it meant that others couldn’t have that chocolate? Wouldn’t you want to have better and better chocolate? She needs to be loved and validated, or else she will be thrown away.

Also, why is your response so damn bitchy? Relax

She used the viscounts son, sure, who seems to be a great guy and I really feel bad for him, but the discount is obviously also using Rashta. She has only Learned in a world where people from others, and it only makes sense that the common sense that she has is a different than that of, for example, Navier’s, because Navier grew up in the court and Rashta grew up as a slave.

She’s lived in a dog-eat-dog world. Boundaries and court rules are not so important to her as surviving in the court and securing her place.

"so damn bitchy" says you? Self awareness much, sweetheart? On one hand, you made an argument, that Rashta is smarter than we give her credit for, yet your defense of her behavior is continuously "she doesn't know any better". Either Rashta is smart and therefore would've learnt, how to act properly in high society and not unnecessarily stirr the pot. This ability to learn and utilise about the norms in high society could've been seen, when she chose to have the same dress as viscount's daughter, to humiliate her after experiencing similar thing with Navier. If she is in fact smart, then she knows full well her actions are not only selfish and do hurt others. Most of the time, those actions are completely unnecessary and don't help her keep her position in any way.
If you want to have the "she was a slave, poor thing is trying to survive" than you have to accept, Rashta is in fact dumb as rocks or just mentally ill. Just by looking over some historic records of actual slaves or even longtime prisoners in bad conditions, who gained freedom, you will find they are cautios and timid. Her behaviour is not that of a longtime captive from bad conditions trying to survive. It could work, if she got strongly attached to Sovieshit and expected love from him, but not even people raised with love would be so entitled to expect love from everyone, let alone someone, who was taught to be unlovable. Rashta's behaviour is just not consistent with that of a survivor. She is either badly mentally ill, or she wasn't treated badly enough to develop survivor mentality and is plain old entitled and an opportunist
