Yep, you got it. And he might be in cohorts with Sukuna since they apparently knew each other way back. Meaning Kamo—I mean Kenjaku—has just been jumping bodies for centuries, which means Yuuji could have so many other half-cursed spirit siblings out there. Now I’m wondering if Kenjaku himself might not be a sibling of Sukuna who’s trying to get him out or bring him back, so to speak.

Merge kind of thing ig? That's possible because tengen exist everywhere. The culling game is just a ritual for the assimilating thing. And tengen can't reject the assimilating because after evolving he has become more like a curse. And kamotoshi has a technique called cursed manipulation. By eating tengen he can control him. So the rescue team will go and play the game. The 6th rule says that they can add a rule after gaining 100 points so they will use that to add some rules into the game. In short nothing would've happen if Gojo wouldn't have been sealed lol
