the last Emperor before this one was the one who sent the underdog prince to war, everyone in royal family wished for the prince to die.
The prince befriended the archmage and the swordsmaster and they won many wars together.
unfortunately, the prince born with little magic power. his talent as strategist in the war drowned by Kyle's fame as the hero in the frontline, and Rykell's power as the archmage. The war achievement secured the throne for him, but he started to develop inferiority complex and tried to "catch up" by any way possible.

the high priestess and archmage helped the woman. the emperor only knew that the baby was dead, while in reality.. the baby was born outside the capital and protected by the archmages.
Later, Archmage of the north took the baby as his disciple and asked the hidden prince to be raised by his half-wolf butler and the duchess of Kyle family. all of his colleague knew the prince identity and never reveal it to the enemy.
4 years later, The high priestess opposed the direct order from the emperor, and killed..leaving a baby daughter while her husband was away and unable to save them. The daughter became a new proof of loyalty and The archmage lost his position as the head of cyclamen family.
He retreated and waiting for a chance to reunite with his daughter, while teaching the stubborn prince and coax him to let go of his grudge and focus on his survival. The archmage helped to seal the power of evil beast, but the prince must learn to control the power and holding his own leash..
