That is what gets. She goes through all that and in the end even after saying she wants to change and become a knight, that is all gone because still got the hots for the abuser. And yes it's a different timeline but this is not about him; it's her. She went through all that and in this new timeline, she sees all the similarities and she believes it will be different later because love!?
WHy do all this stories always try to just swipe away years of torment and abuse as just had a bad time and is gone with becasue now the person is apparently nice to her. WHat is this!
Her choosing her abuser was such a turn off. My boy Carsein deserved better (srsly, almost losing his sight and life for her to go back to the emperor?). Green boy is no better than the emperor (y'all who read the novel know what I'm talking about) so meh. Even so, even if I hated how the plot went, I feel sorry for both the author and artist. The reason why this was rushed is because people kept harassing them. Fortunely the artist gave us the ending
