The spoilers said that the friends knew that she was being used as a dog for the king and they didn't tell her. It said in the end khalid, the friends and the other soldiers deceived her.

Ive never read an isekai like this .. they always return to the past so they can fix things or they're already in the past when they get into the novel. This actually hurts sm, because she came back in the future and was still thinking about her past life and country..
