Would really recommend this story. Est Em always does a good job at representing different cultures. Also, if you read this thinking "huh? what's the big deal to fall in love with someone who supports a different football team".... yeah, football in some parts is intensely tribal, for some people football is tied into what political party they support, whether they are republican or monarchist, what they see their national identity is, what religion they follow, what "values" they think a supporter of their team should have.... all in all so much that has very little to do with the actual game.
In this story, idealistically things worked out, it was a mature take on football divisions and Est Em did their research. If you can support the author, then do so, as so little of her work is available to buy.
