Also yall in the comments treating it like luna's manipulating taebum when taebum's well aware of his role and even insists upon it. He's a grownass adult who can make his own choices and knows the consequences of said choices but just refuses to acknowledge it because he's too blinded by his obsession with luna.
Before anything some of you need to understand that lunaison has only ever known rejection in his life. Rejection from vampires and rejection from humans. The only person who has never shown that to him was luther so of course he'd do anything to keep him alive especially that he basically caused his sickness. He doesnt know what love is and everything that's happening is new to him and he has beliefs and prejudices that makes him think that what taebum's feeling wont last. Their relationship is complicated and takes alot of thinking to actually comprehend especially when someone with lunaison's history. They're not even in a proper relationship yet, what they have now as of ch31 is basically a sort of f-buddy relationship with a somehow one-sided devotion coming from taebum's part and taking advantage of that devotion from lunaison's part. Taebum's aware that he's being taken advantage of too. Another factor that plays into their relationship is while Lunaison's half-human, his exposure to the complexities of humanity is limited and his understanding subsurface at best. Give the guy a break, it's not even that bad and he's just starting to take notice of sht that's happening around him because for the longest time, he's never had to consider humans and their mortality because he aint one of them.
