no but uk, many manga authors that are straight women MAY make a lesbian the villain because uk how it is in real life, straight women like yaoi and gay men but are totally homophobic towards lesbians and sapphic women. If this manga is written by a straight woman (as is the case in many mangas), then i think it might be a lesbophobic
Umm... i read/watch alot of bl/yaoi, and a straight person is usually the villian. The only time a lesbian is the villian is after their evil expolits, in true straight author fashion, where everyone just turns out to be gay or only gay for you. This is one of the very few insistences where the character wasn't confused or suddenly gay, but really actually is, well it seems like it. And honestly i don't know why you guys are so surprised, from the start she was odd, "i always wanted a gay friend" in earshot of potential gay friend, he never brought her shit. And why dissmiss the fact that a gay guy doesn't like her, nor does her lesbian friend. I think you're reading way too much in this
i've read a lot of bl/yaoi too, and almost every time i see a lesbian she is shown as bad some examples are Baker on the first floor and leopard hakusho
ok so i know everyone is mad at blonde girl and mad that they made the antagonist lesbian but personally i think that they're normalizing gay people, especially since there are other good gay people in the manhua, lesbians can be bad people, and also they don't make it her entire personality
