It was basically about ml. As other team managers envy ml sooner they firstly criticised him in front of ceo of their company, but when one manager took side of ml, others found another excuse that company is finding all resources and most of them are bc of ml sooner what if he leaves the company, so ceo plotted against him and told his staff to make ml's new contract where he can't leave the company by himself for 3 years and he won't be promoted as well (?) and in that period, someone else will take ml's place (as other managers wanted it) or some new guy will take his place. So it's the contract which won't allow ml to quit at his will.

Can we appreciate how well made this is like it’s not just their relationship and the characters that are great but the worldbuilding is amazing too although i have no idea what the first few panels were about (i didn’t get the whole recruitment politics) but it’s still a 10/10 you could really tell the author knows their stuff
