maybe it's bc of different translators and the word usage of the original. the version you mentioned is much much better!

The translation of the novel I read was really bad. So I can't be certain if that was what they really meant but since Dion actually replied there, unlike here, I am sure that his reponse was definitely non affirmative.

I thought Dion never had hots for Roxanna? I read the novel and in this scene, when Roxanna said isn't it better if you also lust for me like our oldest brother, Dion's response was "we know that's not going to happen" or smth along the lines. But nevertheless, it's very obvious that Dion likes Roxanna. Why would he be willing to die for her when he was—in the first place— the one who killed her older brother.
