The fate of Ivonne is one of the saddest of all the characters of the novel. After being killed as a child (shortly after she got lost the day of the festival) her soul was trapped inside a mirror and she was tortured every single second by bad spirits telling her things like "you have been replaced", "no one is looking for you anymore". She only got to finally be at peace and disappear once Penny killed the demon and entered the mirror to save one of the other character. She wanted tosbring Ivonne back but her body was distroyed during the fight so it was impossible. All she could do was to comfort her by telling her her family never forgot her and miss her very much as well as allowing her to finally have a "real" death.

Ngl, I'm pretty excited to see how Kallus-whachamacallit and Penelope's relationship progress. I'm a sucker for this kind of trope but at the same time, my second lead syndrome is QUACKING in the back of my head.
And I can't wait for the actual girl to be back. Can anyone tell me if Pene and the real daughter is going to be friends or naw?
