All those scan groups that I've seen so far is obviously following some kind of unspoken rules for those who translate that always ask for permission if you want to try retranslating their works. Actually, most of the time they really don't allow it
Don't call the spanish scan selfish. They inverted their time not only for translate but also for typesetting and cleaning the original raws and they supported the author buying the original work. If you all remember this translator said they were using the spanish raws because they were already cleaned, so yeah all that work matters because it makes a better experience for us readers. "It's all Illegal anyway", yes but that doesn't erase all the work people put only for a person to just take it without asking permission and not even support the author.
