Same for me actually. Stories like these where they're half siblings and they end up together are a big turn off for me.

They aren't half siblings though... They have no blood relation in this story. And the ML had clearly stated that he never saw her as his sister and our MC is reincarnated to begin with so she has no connection with him at all. And in the end if it's a turn off just stop reading... It's not like someone forces you to continue. Go and read something you enjoy instead.

There will always be people who will talk behind your back if you do something out of the "social norm" whatever that may be... As long as they can take the pressure and criticism... I for once don't feel uncomfortable lol Since there is no blood relation(so no risk of any genetic disorders) how they decide to feel it's up to them. I mean you cannot force a sibling bond on two people (especially when they haven't even been raised together since birth/young) just because they are family on papers...

I got that but my point was that thats what authors or the stories do to make it seem okay or 'acceptable'. Which in turn is still a turn off for me. But I wasn't sayi g it was appalling or disgusting to the point that I'd drop the story. No one forced me to continue but no one's forcing me to stop reading either. I was just sharing my opinion why you gotta be so triggered for?
Just don't read it then. There are sooo many other good stories in this website so go read them

You mentioned half siblings and I corrected you in case you didn't know. Also it is okay ( by law) even if it's frowned upon socially... So in my opinion it's not that the author tried to make it "acceptable" or make up excuses(especially since legally there are no issues lol There are step siblings who have gotten married irl...).It's you who views it as wrong and taboo and thinks that the author tries to find ways to make it right even though to you it will never be all right... It's okay to share your opinion, we all do... I just made a suggestion.I mean I usually drop stories that "turn me off"... Why waste my time there when I can read something else that will make me all excited and happy? Btw I am anything but triggered lol peace out!

Alright cool. It might've just been a misunderstanding as what I said was short but I knew they weren't siblings by blood and all. You get my point. That part of the story turns me off but its not something that could make me want to drop the story. I don't give up on stories based on one reason.

A "turn off" means that you have no pleasure in reading this book so unless you're a masochist I don't see why you would want to read further if it bothers you that much
