Arthur begins explaining that he believes they should remain friends, due to their young age. Being childhood friends made Arthur state that he had never looked at or thought of her as anything more than a childhood friend. Tessia was infuriated after listening to Arthur's pathetic explanation. She retorted back, stating that though Arthur was extremely talented in many fields, he was awful when it came to confronting his feelings. She also states that due to his confidence in other skills, Arthur masks his insecurities and refuses to face them. After being left alone, Arthur felt uneasy about confronting Tessia in his next class with her but was alarmed when he found out that Tessia had skipped the class due to being sick. After collecting his thoughts, Arthur decided to confront Tessia once more to sort out his feelings. He apologized for making excuses, and earnestly confessed that he reciprocated Tessia's feelings. However, he asks Tessia to be patient and wait a couple of years for him to mature about his feelings. He promises her that he will not find another girl by initiating a kiss. Afterward, Tess smiles and tells him to not make her wait too long.
