A bit of history:
When Ml was age 14, he was raped by his wife. He had to do it for the sake of his "duty" to produce a kid/heir. So this traumatized him from loving a women and that's why he neglected his daughter and queen. After he married queen, she tried to kill black and jump ml. [Korean novel] I can't read Korean but I thought I should share what I found :3
Romance:
In the novel, out of 180 chapters [I think], the ml and fl will start to realize their feelings for each other. Like 3/4 of the novel. More than halfway through. They had to learn to love themselves first before loving each other. So it took time for their relationship to improve. It's a longgggg development but It's so wholesome.
I'm literally loving the character developments, reactions, and plot.
