Ooo all of what you said above might be the right answer since it's more accurate and based more on the korean language and their proverbs hahaha cause the only thing i did was guess it all through context clues of previous chapters. So thank you as well for decoding that bit of confusion uploader had a problem with
Lols don't worry. Ironically I think what you said is really interesting because it makes the authors work more clever by tieing it all together then to be more cliche and use a proverb. I've been into Korean culture for a while (like deep studying, I want to either work or live there so I'm doing my homework) so I have a more solid understanding of the intended purpose but I like yours more ngl

Hmm.. For uploader/translator/editor person (hahaha idk how to call you)
Based on the context clues from previous chapters.
I think what the prince was saying is...
The first one about "kids" was about Yustaf.
The second one he said was like: "what was his name again? Yustaf? “ and "even if you give him hints/suggest it to him, he wont take the bait. I guess it's not good if its not clear" (?)
(? Lol hahaha i guess what he was talking about the time he talked to yustaf privately about his noonim. Where he should give his sister to the prince if he wants to be the duke or something, like a win win situation, but as you know prince didnt know that the mc and the ml already had an agreement)
And the last one about abama... Lol the only thing i could think of that was close to it was the word Abeoji meaning his father aka the emperor.
But NOTE. I only commented this because there were notes that said they were confused. So i thought i could help. And besides idk korean. And was only basing the things i said in the uploads and context clues.
And maybe other people already noticed it and understood what the texts in The chapter meant.
So no attacking me pls ;u;
I hope i didnt offend anyone and hope i could help. Have a great day
