I feel like they do this in many books where they make females look näive and stupid like you're telling me you don't know the basics of this world? It's annoying since everyone even a fvcking baby would know that. Also idk about others but I would feel disrespected If they didn't even try to know the littlest thing about me like you're telling me she's known that guy for a while and doesn't know a single thing about him? Further she only apologised to Eris but never cleared the misunderstanding amongst the others. An MC is someone who overcomes the adversities they're in and make the most out of it not someone who suffers in it that's what makes them a main character.
