She agreed because she was desperate. She didn't even give Seth away she accepted what she thought was help. Was she supposed to magically guess that Osiris was evil and obsessed with her husband when literally Seth himself didn't notice until the rape?

Yeah, she "claims" to still care about Seth, but at the same time she's just transfered Anubis' curse to Seth as well... She claims it's so he can atone for what he did and not get "purged", but isn't it dangerous for him as well? And no, Seth having the curse now doesn't mean Anubis is spared from it now... Later on we're shown that the only change is that now they *both* have it (instead of just Anubis). I mean, she got both of them to now share the curse that Osiris had made Seth give to Anubis, meaning to use it as a threat to Anubis' life that would get Seth to agree to go to Duat in exchange for saving him... So, even if Neftys herself claims to do it for Seth's sake, isn't that suspicious as heck?

But, never mind that. The reason I blame her the most is because because she didn't do a thing for her son during centuries, we learn later she wasn't imprisoned by Seth but chose to imprison herself (out of guilt), and in chapter 19 we're shown she even figured out the reason Anubis can't grow up and become a god, and she wouldn't tell him. She'd just learned her son had suffered so much at the hands of her husband that he even killed himself, yet she won't tell him the one thing he needs to know in order to become a god and maybe stop the abuse. I don't care if she did it for Seth's sake, you don't choose your man over your kid's wellbeing (I HATE mothers who do that).

BTW, I really commend your patience in waiting for the chapters to be posted here... Given how season one's been finished for more than a year already and how I had to keep correcting people making the wrong assumtion about the end of season one's extras, I practically forgot my manners... Well that's your personal preference. I only value Anubis because he's dear to Seth, so as long as Nephtys didn't work against Seth I'm not mad at her

I watch SNK, I had to wait a year between each season, next to that ENNEAD is piece of cake lol also I like just interacting w/ topics and arguing w/ people
