umm really sorry for saying this but yohan didn't take the hearts... he ate it.
He ate her father's heart and became a half-blood vampire. he couldn't get her mother's heart to become a full-blood vampire, that's why he's after hayan's heart. (╬￣皿￣)凸
Just because he ate it doesn't mean you can't take it back. This is a fiction they could show it as the blood of the father's heart went to yohans heart and they're mixed together or something.
My prediction is that Hayan will rip out her parents heart from Yohan and she'll say something "I'm taking back what was mine" yohan then dies. she'll give the heart to the detective and he's healthy again and becomes a pure vampire after that they live happily ever after.
