yea she is but may be just like the male MC said, she is beautiful but looks hagard probably bec she wasn't taken care of properly. like her skin looks unhealthy. I think the mom and emperor think she is pretty, the mom just dont want someone prettier than her hence why she got an awful hairstyle when she was to go to the temple and her old clothes.
I get that at first she was unhealthy and not taking care of hzrself but as for now whe she got married she's eating and sleeping well. Her clothes also became neater so what aubrey said was out of jealousybandthing more
