My opinion is that his intention doesn’t excuse things. Im totally with FL that those traumas are actually very hard to get over with. You can carry those scars for the rest of your life and might end up hindering you from doing things you like. People CAN get over you unless they’re a freak who stalks you around or whatever. They can take a rejection, scarring them like that HAS to be a last resort if they really won’t give it up
