I came to the same conclusion as well and i just start crying everytime the memories of her being placed into the shadow room comes. I really feel bad for the original Juvelian cuz she always thought that her father never loved her and the fact that she had to go thru in the original story makes me sad cuz she is marked as a villain..
Also fvck mikhail for being a fvcking bastard. B!tch had the audacity to feel entitled to Juvelian's love when he was clearing didnt want her around. Fvck his cousin as well
Y e s! I will gladly punch Mikhail in the face if given the chance. He doesn’t deserve her at all. And I get so sad too thinking about the past life. She died and think of how much sorrow the dad went through.
I cant even imagine the mental breakdown her dad went thru after Juvelian's suicide...
What makes it worst is that Juvelian killed herself with the sword her father gave her...

I think I get it. At the beginning in the flashback he didn’t want her to kill herself. He said “Endure it,” I think he meant endure being in that place while Max comes down to bust you out. We see how much he treasures MC so now that we know that I don’t think he’d suggest suicide to her. Plus Max yelled out “Wait!” Just as MC was gonna stab herself so safe to say he didn’t know she’d do that. Man... I’m willing to bet the dad went psycho after that... Since we see he defo wants the emperor dead. Anyways.... I’m loving the story lol. And I’m willing to be stepmom :))))
