I think she's aware her standing is in danger. I don't think she'd be canoodling with the current emperor - she's deff got some ulterior motives but I doubt it's for the empire. Maybe herself? That's the only reason I'm not panicking - Mortia has the advantage cos she's knows what's gonna happen in the future.

Yeah actually, there's more concern on Kian's side and I think he can handle himself. I was more so worried about that sexist ass emperor. Also I think Kian mentioned being worried she would forget about him if she knew about his past (unless I'm getting my reincarnation manhaw mixed up LOL) and clearly she's from his past...
