i don't see how topping and bottoming in this manga would show character development. it could just be their preference.
Ofc I'm aware it could be their preference but what I said could play a role in the characters' "preference" too. Nozomi relates bottoming with having disgusting things shoved into his butt. I never said it has to happen but if it were to happen then it would be a character development. If you don't see what I mean (you don't have to agree but at least get my point) then thats that.
If Nozomi never had his butt attacked as a child he would probably be bottoming right about now :D As much as I like yakuza ukes, I want to see a development where Nozomi overcomes his trauma and switches role occasionally. Similarly, the yakuza got converted into an uke because of Minori sensei. I'm not sure if the yakuza lusts for or obsesses over sensei but it would show a character development regarding that incident if he tops. In the first chapter the yakuza calls out Minori sensei while bottoming. To him being uke after meeting Minori Sensei while Nozomi tops after trauma with dad.Just a thought.
