1, im extremely embarrassed reading BL. A lot of online friends, and my real friends know. They are really nice about it. They don't really care what I read.
2, And same if they ask me what I like reading I would tell them, along with gl too, can't forget that.
i am proud, but i have people that call m crazy (jokingly) because i openly talk to them about it.

Honestly for the longest time I js didn’t tell anybody I loved to read yaoi/bl but recently I found a bunch of friends who I’m comfortable with so I share with them the yaoi I read and they don’t seem to mind it too much ykk
It depends on the people. My friends know that I read BL and I'm not the only one in the friend group who reads this kind of genre. My friend group were actually very nice about it and some people in my friend group also tried to read BL and they liked it.
Since it’s something that makes me h*rny a lot, I don’t share with ANYONE. But that’s how I treat all of my s*xual preferences. I keep that to myself mostly. But if I was open about other stuff I’m sure I’d be okay with this too.
i'm okay with saying that i enjoy bl but not yaoi, like when it's mainly porn i can't recommend it to almost no one. When it's a bl/shonnen-ai story that i love, i talk about it to everyone
if it's real plot with some sex scenes i can recommend it tho (like killing stalking, it's a good suspense/horror/psychological story, the plot doesn't envolve around guys fucking each other)
My friends read BLs too so we recommend each other of what we've read. we actually have a group chat and we mostly talk about BLs. So great to have them <3
Hmm it depends actually. I'm actually an open person so I go and talk about the things that I like to those person who are close to me. And if someone asks me about it I won't hide it but I also won't talk about BL's to someone who is uncomfortable about it
They knew me ever since so I can't hide anything from them. I love them so much because they accepted me for who I am, I am beyond grateful for that. And yes, I told them and they don't have any problems with that, also, I proudly post what I read and watch on my fb story.
