Im halfway through the chapters and.... ML already has the potential and knowledge from his previous life. Why repeat the life at the company that has messed up your life? I mean, he has the capability to go to other companies because he already has skillzzz. But bruhhh he still applied at the same company!!!! Just why bruuhhh??? Don’t you want to change your life for the better and just stay away from the place that made you a bad person??

I would’ve understand if this was a revenge story, but in his previous, he did not hate climbing up his ranks. He actually liked that he was on the top. What he had was REGRET. So why the hell work in that place again?

He wants to do things differently is really the whole story. He cared about the people he worked with and they were his friends. He probably also applied to the job and became CEO because he's passionate about what this company is doing. But in the previous life he turned a blind eye to those who got fucked over by the company's corruption, and later on played a part in that corruption, going as far as to fuck over his own friends. He regrets those actions and wants to right those wrongs. He could work in another company easily, but that would be running away from the problem and his past mistakes. He has a chance to make up for what he did in the past life and he's taking it. This is a story about him taking accountability and having a second chance, to do things properly not through corruption or greed.

He doesn't want to change his life. He wants to prevent his friend's death. At this point even if he doesn't become CEO, someone else will do the same thing as instructed by the Director. So he went to the same company to save his friend. That is the reason why he went back in time.

It's not really the company itself that ruined his life, it's the shitty management and his personal relationships (which he's fixing)
