Please don’t say it’s clichè because there’s actual couples like that in real life and you make it sound bad. There’s plenty of buff x buff guys stories now like so many it’s okay to have a smaller person with a bigger one and who says he’s innocent just because he's smaller

I find it cliché only in yaoi because that's the kind of couple that you often see in it. It's not bad it's just that i think it would have been a good change for once.

Yes i know what you mean. The dynamic between them could be interesting but we already have one character who is in love with a man but doesn't know if he is gay (and that's totally okay) but isn't it too much to have a gay person (Yosef) going out with someone who is straight soon turned gay (or at least gay for Yosef) again ? Why not some Gay x gay relationship ?
