I agree with you entirely! I kept thinking the same while I was reading. The least she could do was apologize to the ml and it’s bcuz she’s a cheater, I can’t seem to root for her much. I like that she’s going to take revenge and put those two idiots in their place but she’s not innocent either. I’ll keep reading and see how she begins to change and if she’ll genuinely come to like the ml. If not, I’ll most likely drop this.
Idk what to feel about FL. She was manipulated, used, and power abused by a man she cheated with over an arranged engagement. Like, yeah that's a pretty dick move on both FL and Prince Reagan's part.
I get that she cheated because she felt the love she didn't know she could get from ML, but the fact remains that she only kept the engagement to suppress ML from gaining more political power if he could get engaged to another Lady who is much influential, so that Reagan can remain on the no. 1 spot in the throne.
FL was naive (and i'm blaming this on her—most likely—lack of education, being a young lady back then) but she could have at least kept her morale and leave ML alone, but she didn't and ended up cheating for a man that throws her away for a manipulative cousin.
And, FL continues to use ML to avoid her death in this life, with obvious knowledge that he likes her—she uses that to her advantage.
How is that not fucked up?
