Can you spoil me on what happens in the novel?
So basically the novel translation stopped at chapter 22 because the author asked for it :(
The manhwa is actually pretty near with the novels last update.
So, FL was detained inside the mansion but after 3 days, FL's shitty father went out to attend the birthday banquet of Violetta Kalykia (one of the 4 season family). So FL had a chance to escape and went to a place called 'underground'. There, she will rescue a child who's very important to the Kalykia family and encounter the ML(Tho I'm still not sure if he is) who had the goal as the FL.
The child was safe but traumatized ( i will leave out the reason why the child was captured so you can still have the thrill).
FL was the first one to reach the child and later she meets the ML. ML tried to negotiate with the FL, suggesting, they could bring the child together to the Kalykia family but FL refused (I will also leave out the reason why she refused)
At the same time, FL's shitty father and the dude Christian Parveron (whatever his name is) met and honestly, Shitty father was spouting bullshit, telling lies how the accident in the mansion was a prank and the one who awakened the 'blossom' was Ricardo and not the FL, how gabrielle was hurt and disheartened being ignored by christian bla bla bla. Christian dude already knows what's the real deal tho lol he just let this shitty tell lies.
Apparently dude wants to break his engagement with Gabrielle and would like to propose to the FL (so there's a reason why I didn't like him from the start lol). Shitty father got angry and released his power a little but dude was on defense, froze the vines that were at his feet. So here we got 1 point for christian dude for making shitty father angry lol.
The last chapter was about Violetta and her interactions with Christian dude and her cousin (forgot the guts name). Violetta and her cousin were exchanging double intended words so Christian dude was amused and entertained. Violetta then went to have her first dance and baaammm dramatic entrance of FL with blooming flowers. End of last update.
Note: ML is the head of the most powerful family in the current generation. He is highly regarded and well respected. ML was also said to be in a close relationship with Violetta (as they were childhood friends). The reason why the ML was at the underground was because of Violetta's request, well more like a birthday present.
It's more dramatic and serious in the novel but in the manhwa it became comedic and childish because of the chibby characterization. (The art is good just that the chibby is a turn off)
I would have preferred reading the novel but the author asked the translators to drop it.
I have no choice but to continue reading the serialisation.
Im just gonna endure the cringe since I fell in love with the "ignore me now, regret it later" plot.
