You know what? You're right! I never thought about it like that! Even if it's because of love that he appreciated the looks of his og wife, why just her looks? Why not ALSO the child SHE chose to give birth to and give up her life for? That would have been a FAR better example of his love for her. But nope instead he focused on the more superficial aspects of his wife than anything else, giving a lie to the words that 'he really loved his wife'.
