when i actually turned 18 it didn’t feel special at all cause i’ve been lying about being 18 for years before then.. like i STILL feet guilty looking at 18+ content even though i’m of age and it’s totally okay

before I reach the age (17/18+) I've been saying to the internet it's fun but after I reached that age I now use the "I'm 12" card because I realized that internet world is scary and I say that I'm 12 to avoid creepy people

Idk but this is kind of messed up a little ? Depending on the social circles ig ? Cause if youre a minor in adult circles (like horny twitter I mean) and interacting with adult content/with adults who are speaking about adult content, that's hella weird ? Like every porn artist or even like most mangakas/authors include the "R-18" or "18+" usually because it makes them uncomfortable when minors look at that content, especially when it's theirs ? Also like, it kind of unnerves some people when they talk to a minor ? Its sort of weird to explain (cuz it can differ from person to person) but I (and the people ik) don't generally like to talk to people outside my age group irl ? Even online too. And I've always been like this. Even before I turned 18. Also like, imagine you're talking to someone who you believe to be your age only to find out they're like, years younger ?? That shit is unnerving as all hell.
true!! and a lot of ppl get groomed when they lie about their age :( however it can be uncomfortable for ppl to say their age online so i understand if they lie about their age by like 1-2 years? but they shouldn’t say they’re 17 when they’re only 14 yk? it just makes an uncomfortable atmosphere and people really need to watch out about the information they put out on the internet
Yeah facts. That’s why I feel bad. And usually I don’t lie about my age to adults. It’s usually other minors lol
