on the one hand he does come off that way (at first!) on the other, i think him pitying and treating MC with kid gloves woulda hurt his pride way more than the response he got which was p much "yes AND???". i think with trauma it can be better to not feel like a pitiful victim. but SJ becomes more affectionate to MC soon after. it was just rly some misunderstandings at first. (i mean he threw up while having sex with him so he prob got his feelings hurt a bit too. tho yeah, he SHOULD be less pissy about it once he gets the explantion from MC saying why he acted that way, which is the only thing that bugged me about his response not so much that he didnt immediately go soft on him for it)
If he becomes more affectionate later is cause he'll have feelings for him... I think people should be kind to each other...
And he could have said nothing instead of "yes and" that was really insensitive... I don't mean he should've changed the way he acted but that "yes and" was really mean!
