yea it rly disappoints me. I had just figured out how to upload chapters but then i see theres a update where uploading chapters was more visible and easier. It’s honestly a mess now cause ppl keep translating things then be like “new translator” when there was literally a new translator last chapter. Ppl are being insensitive just bc they wanna upload stuff and are taking other peoples positions. I wanted to start a translating team but honestly idk anymore cause theres too many people not understanding that there are already people translating for certain series.
Exactly. And there’s a difference between starting ur own translation team and doing it on a whim through google translate. Like I’m sick of seeing my favorite stories getting really bad translations and the poor translators who are following guidelines to make it look neat and respect the author can’t do their work. This is how mangago gets reported bc people upload from other sites or specific people or do it too early so it gets reported
This might be an unpopular opinion but I think people are taking advantage of the upload option. Like some people are uploading really bad translations, and I appreciate the effort, but then the actual translators who put gold work and make it look nice don’t upload a better version. Then there’s all this stuff where chapters get deleted or reupload and it’s a mess. Honestly I don’t mind waiting and would rather wait then try to decipher really weirdly translated chapters. Again no hate to the people who do this but I think it’s blowing up in our faces.
