it been done in Mo dao zu shi too, it mostly shows what happens to her past after she comes back to this new world and how she felt about it, and it scattered all over the story and we need to connect the dots to each other. not anything new in story telling.
Is the story supposed to be like this? Why are the flashbacks like that? I can’t really understand the story
