I’m assuming that chapter one is just a like old memory from the skinny glasses guy and he just remembered what happened to Rudy back then and rn in the second chapter where Rudy is right now is what’s actually happening at the moment. Also pretty sure Rudy’s that big dog wolf thing or whatever
