it is the random weird american stereotype in order to start the relationship somewhere. author probably wanted a hate to love story lol
I see it started off that way but the author probably wanted to change away from that during development.. I don't know exactly when the "change of heart" moment begins though. But yeah I'm rereading the first chapter and it does come off harsher than it should for a hate to love development.
I still want to know why eddie said what he said in ch1 IDFC what kind of development he got later but how can you just simply make fun of a stranger for no goddamn reason who even said he was a fan. And yeah, this scene is what got eddie interested in him and bla bla bla but considering he never did or thought of something or made comments like that, it kinda seems out of place. Or is this the stereotypical Americans are racist randomly?
