what exactly did he do wrong??? are you blaming him for her running away??? he had a worse child hood then her and was made that way. he never once treated her bad. he just doesn't know how to love. I would blame her, for not trying to understand him.

she wasn't played or deceived really. look up the definition of deceived---to make someone believe something that is not true : to practice deceit also : to give a false impression appearances can deceive. go back to the chapters with the dream, he expressed his love for her and those where true. the only thing that wasn't true was that he didn't tell her the dreams where real but every emotion they shared together was true and not deceit. if you realized, it was from her perspective. have you not read literature with POVs of different characters and their opinion . that's what I think is going on. she believes she is deceived but she really wasn't. and she is only scared because of how much blood is on his hands and not looking at the bigger picture. why did he kill so much? was there a reason?? this are the questions she should be asking. but no she fled.
She did try to understand him. She knew he was a tyrant and cruel, so she couldn't tell him she was pregnant. She liked him and believed he wasn't a true asshole. After she found out he was trolling with her and was keeping her friend (the captain) away from her, it really hurt her. She felt manipulated and thought he didn't really love her at all. I feel bad for him too but he needs to act like he deserves another chance.

Honestly, I read someone's comment that said that it was both their fault and it did change my mind about the ML but it still does not justify his actions. As readers, we see both sides of the story but the FL does not see that, so we can not expect her to see his suffering immediately. From the "dream" it was shown that he does know how to care for the FL and how to make her comfortable but IDK the exact reason why he didn't show that in real life. Another, she herself has seen how he acts because she has served him for a long time and she sees that he is a man that does not show much emotion. THIS IS SO COMPLICATED(╯°Д °)╯╧╧
There is much more I wish to say but don't know how to explain it T-T. But yeah, it is not entirely her fault and it is not entirely his fault either but for me, it is more his fault than her fault. He did not give a good impression on her in "real life" which causes this WHOLE drama because of the mistakes with both characters.
