In this and in many other manga/manhwa it's generally a rule of thumb if you lie (and get caught), you die. Homegirl believed that shit so easily and believed rumors over actually talking to him. She ain't the victim. They both suck.
dude! the problem was that he knew all along who the mother was. she only ran away once she realized that he knew all along, meaning he was threatening her and playing around with her all while knowing exactly who she was.

i feel bad for him and it sucks that all that happened to him but it still doesnt excuse his past actions and treatment of elan and idk like he could have “had” her so easily if he was just a nice guy but instead he made her feel scared and in danger and was in general just a creep towards her so SORRY I STILL DONT LIKE HIM
