So.. is this a decent read?

I enjoyed it. My best advice is to let go of the usual expectations you’d have for a badass female lead and just read the story by staying mindful of the time period. That way you could either truly appreciate it or truly despise it.

Like, I get why people dislike it, but their assessment sucks because they were clearly expecting to read something different.
